A beautiful round, mapped out to perfection - a beautiful circle on the map and a super fun, bike-friendly route full of unique highlights. 🚴‍♂️✨

To put this round on the map, you will have to climb quite a few meters in altitude, in a varied route. It is recommended to cycle it anticlockwise. From Maastricht, after climbing the Loorberg near Epen, you will touch the Belgian border in the south. Then you will go along the German border, also twice a bit over it, via Heerlen and Landgraaf over the Brunssummerheide and you will descend via Geleen back along the Maas to where you started. The circle is complete!

Narrow straps?That's perfectly possible! The route is entirely on paved roads, of which approx. 100m is gravel.

Gravel bike?Take the gravel variant with 33km of extra unpaved/gravel strips.

Can you cycle this round every day?

Yes, cycle this round whenever you want. You don't have to give a date.

When there are large tours or cycling competitions, parts of the route may not be accessible or may be limited. For this, please check thecycling calendarand on thewebsite of the NDW(does not work on mobile).

Where is the starting location?

You can start anywhere on the circle.

Are you coming from further away? If possible, start a real Ronde location, so that you can start or end with a drink and/or a tasty (drink) snack.

Can you also cycle this Tour the other way around?

Yes, that is possible.

What are the points of interest along the route?

The road routecontains approx. 100m of paved gravel. Perfectly doable with narrow tires.

To make the circle more beautiful, go through Germany twice... well, anything for the perfect circle!

The gravel routecontains some super steep segments. Just persevere here!

Can you also participate as a group/team?

Yes, that is definitely possible.

Group discount: If you place multiple Round Boxes for the entire group of 3 people or more in one order, you will receive free shipping + a €5 discount per group member.

Do you have to cycle this round in one go?

You don't have to, you can also do it for several days. Do you do it in one go or do you stay overnight? The choice is yours!

How can you merge individual rides into a whole circle on Komoot / Strava?

1 - Download the GPX files of your individual activities, with Strava this is only possible via a desktop computer.

2 - Merge the downloaded GPX files on this site: gotoes.org/strava

3 - Delete your old loose activities.

4 - Upload a new activity with the merged GPX file.

With Komoot Premium the above steps are not necessary, you can merge the individual rides into a multi-day tour. That is then only visible in Komoot.

Can you exchange or cancel an order?

When placing your order, you will immediately receive the Tour Guide (E-book) and GPX files by email. As well as the donations to the charity, the digital files are of course non-returnable. Orders can therefore not be cancelled or returned.

Events & Social Rides
You cannot cancel your ticket, but you can transfer it to another person. You can do this via the dashboard of the ticket system. Access to this dashboard can be found in your order confirmation email.
