To put this round on the map, the wind can be your biggest opponent. Although they usually call it very soberly here in the North: 'a small breeze'. On the way you cycle through the city of Groningen, you string together the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands, you have a beautiful view over the Eems at Delfzijl and you cross various surprising nature reserves, such as the Zuidlaardermeer area. After approximately 119 km on the pedals you return where you started. The circle is complete!

When there are major tours or cycling competitions, parts of the route may not be accessible or may be limited. For this, please check thecycling calendarand on thewebsite of the NDW(does not work on mobile).

Where is the starting location?

You can start anywhere on the circle.

Are you coming from further away? If possible, start a real Ronde location, so that you can start or end with a drink and/or a tasty (drink) snack.

Can you also cycle this Tour the other way around?

Yes, that is possible.

What are the points of interest along the route?

The route is completely paved, with approx. 200m of gravel. And somewhere at a bridge you have to get off your bike and go up and down a few steps. Enjoy this beautiful spot!

Can you also participate as a group/team?

Yes, that is definitely possible.

Do you have to cycle this round in one go?

You don't have to, you can also do it for several days. Do you do it in one go or do you stay overnight? The choice is yours!

How can you merge individual rides into a whole circle on Komoot / Strava?

1 - Download the GPX files of your individual activities, with Strava this is only possible via a desktop computer.

2 - Merge the downloaded GPX files on this site: gotoes.org/strava

3 - Delete your old loose activities.

4 - Upload a new activity with the merged GPX file.

With Komoot Premium the above steps are not necessary, you can merge the individual rides into a multi-day tour. That is then only visible in Komoot.

Can you exchange or cancel an order?

When placing your order you will receive the Digital Tour Guide and GPX files directly by email. Orders/tickets can therefore not be cancelled or returned.

Events & Social Rides
 You can transfer your ticket to another person. You can do this via the dashboard of the ticket system. Access to this dashboard can be found in your order confirmation email.
