A beautiful round, mapped out to perfection - a beautiful circle on the map and a super fun, bike-friendly route full of unique highlights. 🚴‍♂️✨

Recommended starting location is the idyllically situated Carolinahoeve in de Steeg. From there you ride to the town of Dieren out of the forests of the Veluwezoom National Park and you arrive on the east side of the round along the flanks of the IJssel. In the north you enter the forest again on rolling terrain in the Kroondomein het Loo and the Speulderbos. Via the open area between Voorthuizen and Ede you end up in the forest again. When passing through Arnhem you reach the finale, because the sting is in the tail... with a series of tough calf biters around the Posbank area. After approximately 160 km on the pedals you return to where you started. The circle is complete!

Narrow straps?That's fine! The route is completely paved, with approximately 1 km of gravel.

Gravel bike?Then take the gravel variant with 50km extra unpaved/gravel strips.

As a bonus, there is also an XL road route (186km / 2km gravel) and XL gravel route (193km / 40km gravel).

Can you cycle this round every day?

Yes, cycle this round whenever you want. You don't have to give a date.

When there are large tours or cycling competitions, parts of the route may not be accessible or may be limited. For this, please check thecycling calendarand on thewebsite of the NDW(does not work on mobile).

Where is the starting location?

You can start anywhere on the circle.

Are you coming from further away? If possible, start a real Ronde location, so that you can start or end with a drink and/or a tasty (drink) snack.

Can you also cycle this Tour the other way around?

Yes, that is possible. We think left is the most fun.

What are the points of interest along the route?

The road routeis completely paved, with approximately 1 km of gravel.

For some segments in thegravel routeyou need a MTB vignette or day pass from Natuurmonumenten. Order this via:Natuurmonumenten.nl/mtb/dagpas

Can you also participate as a group/team?

Yes, that is definitely possible.

Group discount: If you place multiple Round Boxes for the entire group of 3 people or more in one order, you will receive free shipping + a €5 discount per group member.

Do you have to cycle this round in one go?

You don't have to, you can also do it for several days. Do you do it in one go or do you stay overnight? The choice is yours!

How can you merge individual rides into a whole circle on Komoot / Strava?

1 - Download the GPX files of your individual activities, with Strava this is only possible via a desktop computer.

2 - Merge the downloaded GPX files on this site: gotoes.org/strava

3 - Delete your old loose activities.

4 - Upload a new activity with the merged GPX file.

With Komoot Premium the above steps are not necessary, you can merge the individual rides into a multi-day tour. That is then only visible in Komoot.

Can you exchange or cancel an order?

When placing your order, you will immediately receive the Tour Guide (E-book) and GPX files by email. As well as the donations to the charity, the digital files are of course non-returnable. Orders can therefore not be cancelled or returned.

Events & Social Rides
You cannot cancel your ticket, but you can transfer it to another person. You can do this via the dashboard of the ticket system. Access to this dashboard can be found in your order confirmation email.
